Turistic Information

Playa del Carmen
Playa del Carmen is named after Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the patron saint of Cancún. It is located along the Caribbean Sea in the state of Quintana Roo in Mexico.

At the time of the approval of the Cancun Project, in 1969, Playa del Carmen was only considered as a ferry pier to Cozumel. From the 80s, it starts to develop as a tourist destination and today it is one of the top dive destinations in the world. Currently, you can find restaurants or exclusive boutique hotels on its streets. Likewise, it is a good place to camp, play golf and enjoy ecotourism, plus many other activities such as sailing, kayaking, surfing, fishing aboard a luxury yacht or making expeditions for the archaeological site of Tulum.
